Song & Dance is a startup nonprofit organization based in Portland, Oregon. The goal of the organization is to provide musical instruments and music and dance lessons to those in need. Song & Dance believes strongly in the positive effects of music and dance on children and on the community. It is our mission to provide the gifts of music and dance to those who may not have the resources or exposure to participate in these arts. Additionally, Song & Dance accepts donations of new and used musical equipment and audio/video gear. This equipment is either reused or recycled. Reusable equipment is either donated to those in need or sold to the community. Profits from sold merchandise are filtered back through the organization as needed. The secondary mission of Song & Dance is to reduce the amount of electronics that wind up in landfills and leach into our environment by refurbishing, reusing and recycling.
